Hi. I want to register an additional place of business which is used as godown. This place was taken on rent 2 years back but registration was not done. As per rule the godown should have been registered within 30 days of rent agreement. If I register now will there be any penalty or fine payable.

Kindly made new rent agreement on current date and registered it within 30 days as a additional place.
I believe that no such problem will arise provided you have not made any taxable supplies during this period.
