Registration for new unit in excisting company

Dear All,

Our company is into the business of providing technical services to pharma companies and having service tax no. Now we are planning to open a new unit , which will provide services to companies other than pharma companies. The new unit will be the part of excisiting company and balance sheet of both unit will be the same.

Wheather we have to take a septrate service tax no for the same as Invoice of the new unit will be having a septrate series?

All persons providing taxable services would have to take only one registration even if they operate from more than one premises but have centralized billing at one place. However, if they do not have Centralized billing at one place, then they will have to register at each place separately. Besides only one registration is required to be taken even if an individual provides more than one service but from the same premises.
