I am looking for the procedure of registration of an exisiting and running Service company as Micro, small and Medium Enterprises. All what benefits do such registration enjoys. Also the investment/ Asset Value limit as mentioned is gross or net of depreciation.

to Get Registerred under Management of Small Medium Enterprises Development Act 2006. U need to Submit the following Attached Form Enterprenuers Memorandum.. along with Proofs of the Company / Proprietix / Partnership and proofs of Directors/Partners/Proprietor Along with Details of Plant and Machinery... ..This Form should be Submitted with Directorate of Industries Department. This comes under the state legislature.. Tell me Which State and Which City u want to Submit the Form , so tht i can forward u the phone no. of the particular Department.. U can get the Certificate in Jus one week ....But tht depends on how the Officials are...
Thanx Srinath. The place is Noida UP. One more thing whether it makes any difference on the registration if the company is already in business for last 5-6 years as a simple ROC registered company.
Also what about the valuation of assets - Gross or Net and benefits.

It is ok even if the company has been registered long ago.. it can now go for a MSE registration..
Valuation of Plant & machinery is only required not off assets.... if it is software company then computers are belevied to be plant & Machinery....
