SERVICE TAX WILL B CHARGE FROM 01.10.12 ON FARE FROM PASSENGER OF A/C CLASS & FIRST CLASS,
BUT WHAT ABOUT OTHER CLASS PASSENGER, THEY WILL B CHARGE OR NOT.........................
PLEASE HELP DUE TO THE MARRAGE OF MY BROTHER IN MID OF NOVEMBER I HAVE TO BOOK 25-30 RESERVATION.

The transportation for other classes can never be taxed as the same taken out of taxability vide the NEGATIVE LIST u/s.66D of the Finance Act, 2012.
Good News, no tax; book my ticket also...

yes service tax will be charged only on AC class not on other classes.

Yup as mentioned above by my dear colleague as per the notification issued by the CBEC the Railway fares of other classes has been removed out of the Service tax regime..!!!
