Regarding my inward remittance tax

Hi All,

Last financial year, I worked for an onsite company for three months period through work from home and then resigned from my position.
in the 3 months, I received inward remittances($). so is this come under my gross income?
if then, how do I add (other sources?).

Thanks

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether inward remittances received from overseas work while working from home in the UK are considered taxable income. The consensus is that for resident Indians, these remittances are indeed taxable. It is advised to declare this income under 'business income' or 'income from other sources' (IFOS) on your tax return, depending on the specific nature of the earnings.

Yes it is taxable, for resident Indian.

You can declare it under business income or under IFOS, depending upon its nature.

Thanks, I will do that.

MY PLEASURE.
