RESPECTED ALL MEMBERS
ONE OF MY CLIENT RETURN IS DEFECTIVE DUE TO NAME MISMATCH AS PER PAN DATA MISMATCH NOW I WANT TO BE REVISE THIS RETIRN AND INCOME IS 299000 SO LATE FEES PAYBLE OR NOT ?

If it is revised return then no late fee applicable

For revised return filing there is no late fees but before that you have to resolve that name mis-match issue.

Once the original return is filed before due date, You can revise your return for any number of times.. It's treated same as if you've filed the last revised return instead of original one.. No late fees because it's just an edit to your originally filed return...
