We have a manufacturing business and now starting up another manufacturing unit in a different city but in the same state. My question is do we need a new C.S.T. number for the new unit or we can use the same C.S.T. number as the new unit is the part of the same company but is involved in a diffrent trade. Please guide me what we are supposed to do and how? thank you.

Regarding c.s.t. number?

You do not need another CST number since the business is to be registrered at one place in the State and he can do the business with this number in whole state.
If it is in another name then you will have to apply for the VAT. If it is sister concern then you need not to.
