i am sorry if it is a non relevant question/ a wrong place to ask.  I am not belongs to finance/accounts background. If someone can help me  i will be thankfull.

I initiated some transaction from Abroad (UAE) using both inernet banking and debit card belongs to Indian savings account . But in bank staement i found a difference in transaction date. Ex: transaction of 10 June was reflecting on statements as 13 June.  what could be the reason?  while googling i found topics such as Posting date and value date. is that related?

can anyone help?

it could have been the transition time. Normally even in India if we deposit a local cheque it will take minimum 2 days for clearing & if its an outstation cheque it will take more than a week to credit to the beneficiary.
