Regarding bangar book

But why you are facing the difficult of the new edition?? Most of the things will be same subject to the amendments.

If you want refer old edition than have a RTP and place marks in old edition where there are amendments write page number of RTP at there.It will not take more than an Hour to place marks in Book from RTP.Most of amendments are in CENVAT Credit rules.When you reach to some topic where you have placed mark refer RTP for that point.

as i bought may-12 book but it was untouched even i hadn't appeared for group ii exam...

so weather i can manage with that one or  new one is must????????

WHAT IS EXCISE DUTY RATE RELEVANT FOR NOV-2012 EXAMS???? 10.3 % OR 12.36%??????

I CONFUSED BECAUSE BANGAR BOOK FOR MAY-12 EDITION SHOWS 10.3% HOWEVER BANGAR BOOK FOR NOV-12 EDITION SHOWS 12.36% ?(w.e.f 17-03-2012)............ is it posssible that one rate for may12 n one rate for nov-12 exam??? even my freind is attending classes at PUNE for nov-12 exam batch at A.S.foundation where he taught as 10.3% ///// kindly advice i m very confused becoz i m doing self study??

Regarding rate of duty, it's 12.36% wef 17/03/2012 so don't be confused.Moreover I am also doing IDT from May-12 addition. I thought new edition is needed but it's not like that.You can very well prepare from May-12 addition.However,as I said earlier, you must have RTP and Supplimentary book issued by ICAI.All amendments are properly explained.GO through RTP and supplimentary atleast twice it will be very usefull.
