Hai Sir,

Mrs.M Gifted a land on 05/11/2001 and another land on 09/03/2021 to her own son. Can we claim deduction under sec. 80C?

That is the cost of improvement. Deduction allowed only on sale of the asset.

It's exempted under section 56(2)(x)
What is relation of gifting of land & Section 80 C???
