Frnz, One of my friend was copying an excel file in a Cd. the Cd was full and having no space so she found an error of low space. she cancelled the command. again she found some window or error asking to take any action, she didn't read the same and again clicked on cancel command. her mistake was that she use cut command instead of copy, she lost her file. that file no where in system and she is very tensed as her lots of work has been lost. i was not a part of the incident when it happened so can't describe the actual errors. cud anyone help me if there is any possibility of getting that file back. that file was on desktop.
please tell me if it is possible.
Regards,
JMD

You can try restoring the file if u had this option enabled when this incident occured

If restore is enabled then - go to the folder which contained this file. [Do not open the folder] Now right click on the folder -> Properties--> Previous versions tab --> Choose the latest version and click on copy. [If you select restore then the entire folder will be replaced and any file created subsequently will be lost]
