Hi

While i purchased the property my broker gave me passback or commision from cheque and deducted 5% tds on my pan. That income clubbed to my itr as an entry from 26as. How can i get the refund or should i have to pay the tax on the other income. The itr is not proceessed and its asking for rectification to agree or dis agree

Let me know how to proceed on the above issue as i have paid the property price vai chq and loan. Its my own income which is been given to me by broker as commission.

Thanks

Yes, taxable under other income.

You may agree to the mismatch, some more tax liability will arise as per slab......
