Linking your bank account with PAN is advisable to get timely refund.

You log in to e-filing site and go Profile. There you will find pre-validate heading. And then click to proceed and follow steps.

It is very fast and it hardly takes 20-30 minutes for the procee. After that use button "Refund Re-issue .

Interest you won't get as delay is attributable to assessee.
