one of the client had gone for Picked up ammapeal against commissioner order to ITAT and won the case and refund granted for the tax amount paid.
for getting the refund from department, please guide how to move further. will they get refund automatically or is there any way to find out the stage of refund?

You will have to ask the AO to give effect of the tribunal order. Please submit a letter with enclosures.
Thank you for the reply. is there any possibility of giving the letter online? as they are not living in same city as that of AO.
You can email the scan copy of letter with a line saying to treat it at par with physical submission. But ideally, do a physical submission.
Thank you. is the assessee reqd to go personally to give AO or anyone representing the assessee can give it personally?
Anyone can submit. As such it is going to be collected by the TAPAL only. Later, someone would only need to follow
