For Accounting Standard - D.S.Rawat . its just easy to understand & written in simple & fluent language.

For Accounting Standards, Paduka’s book is 10 times far better than D.S.Rawat’s book.

I have used both of it. So can compare them. Paduka’s better b’coz of the following reasons:

Its in Q.A format.
Far simple language then D.S.Rawat’s book.
Practical Problems solved after each Theory Question (wherever required) which helps in easy understanding of Principles of AS.

Institute’s Module is not enough for better understanding, as it doesn’t provide problems where Principles of AS can be applied to. So go for Paduka’s.

D.S.Rawat is the best.... MPV is also good but its voluminous.... Padhuka is also good but too much is loaded that it is not at all required for the exams.(exam-oriented). If u understand the concept, any problem can be solved in the exam ( a question mark by itself!!!!!!!)
