Whether it would have a retrospective effect

It is  retrospective effect because now IPCC student have already chance to give Final  exam 6 months before and also new PCC batch will not come. So only Old PCC student take advantages of this decision.

I Agree with u Khalid.& other students who give information about Reduction in Articelship.

We hope that our articelship reduced by six months.

So what is benefit of this decision for PCC student.

Dear khalid, abhishek is correct... there are so many students who already finished three years articles and still going for articles..... 

Committee means "people who are incapable of individually doing anything, coming together to decide that nothing can be done."

Thats all as far as ICAI committees for students are concerned.

You r right, i also already  complete my articleship of 3 years and now only 6 month to go furthur.

but this decision wil bring the more time for reading through articleship reduction so that i hope it is retrospective effect.

But it is also true that u write about committes of institute.

Khalid u r rite there could be come benefit for our batch.... but then we have to keep a realistic expectation yaar...

Now they will say that if period is reduced, then it will be unfair to one set of students and gives advantage to another group so they cant reduce the period.... 

If they wanted to do anything seriously, they would have done it long time back....

For Eg: Overnight decisions on transfer ban and change in exam patterns....

They are only looking for some excuse to come up with.. til now, it was bluffing that CG approval required..........LIARS..... ICAI has been given all powers to regulate the profession and CA course, and they have all the power they already need.. 

PE-2, PCC, CPT, IPCC, CCTT, ITT, GMCS, Residential programme, Orientation programme...

what all changes have come in just 2.5 years.... Money minting and daylight robbery...... :(

Wht are the source of this news,

I will be completing my 3 years of article by April. There will be more people who completes their 3 years of article by this FEB. If they give decision by march, then many students will not be benefited.

Hey this is a unbelievable news for PCC students that duration of articleship is reduced form 3.5 years to 3 years. Thanks all of u for giving this news.

According to me everyone will be benifited. As even the announcement comes in march. All will have excess leave. So it will be usefull for students who finish their articles by Feb also.
