Rectifying previous years ITR to include NSC interest income

if NSC interest is not shown as income in previous years can we rectify the previous years ITR to rectify and include nsc interest income instead of showing the entire interest in the final year.  I had missed out showing NSC interest in the previous years and had I done that it would have been beneficial.  Please guide. thanks
