Rectification u/s 154

 As far my knowledge is concerned :

Even if we prepare Rectification Order u/s.154, to make necessary changes, department can not rectify the same thing. due to this this demand remains continue and never end  or adjust next year refund.

There is no specific format it needs to be simple letter addressing the mistake apperent from from record, and the resulting demand or refund once the rectification is carried out, and requesting the officer to pass the order u/s 154.

You may conclude the letter with following words

 I HAVE TO REVISE RECTIFICATION ORDER U/S 154 (CPC REFERENCE NO. : CPC/0910/T4/1101524694 DATED 19.05.2011 AY : 2009-10). WHILE I TRYING TO REVISE, I AM GETTING ERROR REPLY THAT " INPUT FIGURES ARE NOT MATCHING" BUT I CHECKED THOROUGHLY ALL THE FIGURES GIVEN BY ME ARE CORRECT. HOW TO GO FURTHER. PLEASE HELP ME

I have the same query as Keerti's. I got an intimation u/s 143 (1) and I filed a rectification return. Now I received an intimation u/s 154, and I realised that there was an error in the rectified return. How do I correct this?

                       sometimes theremay be a problem in the site so if the message is showing again & again that ur input figure is not matching, you should try after some time.
