While checking maharashtra vat news section side i found out yesterday only a list has been put on website for year 2013-2014 andmy firm name is there for issue based audit.

All the filing so far has been done by me .So do i need to worry and contact A ca?

what actually is this issue based audit and do the officers will pay me visit or ill receive notice to furnish my records?

You need not worry. But hire a CA who will guide you in this matter since it will require following up with the officer, matching of returns with accounts, locating the defaults and closure of the notices. I have been taking up such assignments like yours and those related to business audits too. Officers will not pay visit to you.
