REBATE u/s 87A FOR STCG u/s 111A
While filing Income tax return for a client where total income is less than 7 lacs and STCG u/s 111A is 4 lacs, but rebate u/s 87A amounting to 25000 is not given by the dept.

Department has clarified that the rebate u/s. 87A is not eligible under new regime for the income taxed at SPECIAL RATES
