Dear all,
one of my office staff had taken a housing loan on his name & registered the property to his father's name . my question is that:-
1 can he claim rebate of interest onloan on his part ?
2 Can he claim HRA rebate ?

1. Yes he can claim rebate of interest on loan if he is actually paying that interest amount on loan for house property.
2. Yes he can get HRA exemprion if he is living in a rented house (Subject to all three condition the remaining amount will be taxable).
