Rebate for the compensation given

Dear Friends

I have a plot acquired from PUDA (Punjab urban development athourity) and all the payments has been cleared and got the possesion from PUDA. Later the farmers of that Land from filed a case on PUDA for the higher compentstion for the Land and they won the case and compenstion was paid by PUDA but PUDA furthur divided the given amount among the plot owners.Which we had paid to PUDA. So my question whether we can claim for deductions of the amonut given in filing income tax return
