Reasonable period for service tax credit

410 views 1 replies

Hello,

Alough though no specific period is mentioned for availing Service Tax credit, I heard from some unknown source that one of the Tribunal has given decision that reasonable period means period of one year. Can anybody put light on this issue and whether such decision is given by any Tribunal in the recent past.

Secondly, in case of slump sale of business - Whether new (transferee) company can avail the service tax credit based on the input services invoices perting to transferer comapny.
