You have made the right move by joining a CA Firm, as it will be difficult to start your own practice immediately, as it requires time to have an Infrastructure in terms of Office / assets / resources / clients etc. Start networking with a wide variety of people in the society from a Sales tax Consultant, Advocate , Doctor, NGO worker, Linked in contacts, study circle members, past colleagues etc.

 

Gear up to offer specialised services, as tomorrow once you start your own practice in collabaration with other like minded people you can always carve out spaces for each other.

First of all, please understand if you wanted to start a audit firm, you need to have practical knowledge in statutory audit, Tax audit & Internal audit to some extent. So please try to get audit firm which will provide you exposure in this areas & you need to get used to income tax appeals & statutory compliance of companies as well as partnership firm

 

Try to get into a firm which will do other financial services. Something other than Audit field. These jobs will easily help you to earn from your office and will possibly reduce travel.. Quietly start your own research. Build your own network and trust of people. Be updated with daily affairs. Daily business news is a must. All the Best
