Our Whole Time Director(WTD) Appointment ends on Oct 20th, but our Board meeting is going to be held on Nov 8 th .Can we appoint WTD retrospectively from Oct 21st by the Board of Directors ?

In my view the WTD cannot be re-appointed with retrospective effect
as law allows the co. to reappoint its WTD well in advance.
