RCM on Rent paid..

If I pay godown rent to an unregistered person do I have to pay GST under RCM...
If yes then why because rent is not listed under the list of services listed for RCM

if u r registered person then u have to pay tax under reverse charge on every purchase from unregistered person, hence u have to pay tax under RCM.

Limit of 5000 is on daily expenditure rent we pay on monthly basis

if we take services of GTO( who does not issue consignment note) from an unregisterd person..does it fall under RCM and does the limit of 5000 per day apply on it?

RCM is compulsory in case of GTA irrespective of limit of 5000. Limit of 5000 is applicable on expenditure which are not specified

Sir that's why I wrote GTO...GST makes a difference between GTA and GTO( goods transport operators who do not issue consignment notes) Sir pl clarify...as most of out transpoeters are of this nature
