No it is not required

No.

[RCM provision will apply only if the recipient is registered and the supplier is unregistered. A supplier who has opted for composition would not charge GST on his supply but is nevertheless registered and does not attract this provision.]

plz confirm sir why not required
Already explained by Mr Deepak Gupta G

RCM liability arises on purchase from unregd dealers. Composite dealers are registstered dealers.

Agree with CA SALONI

When purchased from Unregistered registered delear, it will attract to RCM. If purchaed from Composite delear it will not attract to RCM because composite delear is a registered delear as per GST Act.

Dear All ,

Composition Dealer is a Registerd Dealer , although he is not eligible to collect tax from  cousmer nor he is eligible for ITC on purchase he is not seem exempt from law

RCM on purchase from unregistered dealer has been postphoned till 31st March'2018.

I am registered as composite retailer. I have one shop, which I want to give on rent.rent is 35000 per month. What is about RCM on rent? Pls guide

But what if goods supply by CMP. dealer are taxable. But no gst collect or no RCM applies here. Than what about gst. Who pays the gst for this supply for these goods on their tax rate ???
