RCM on farmers
is farmer is URD or not as rcm applicable on urd purchase before 12 October ?

Most farmers are not registered for GST, and fresh agricultural produce is typically exempt, meaning RCM usually does not apply. However, if you are purchasing notified goods (such as raw cotton, tobacco leaves, or cashew nuts), you are legally required to pay GST under the Reverse Charge Mechanism.
