I have registered person under composition scheme under gst act. I purchased goods from outside the state for which i have to pay transportation charges. my query is RCM is applicable on transportation charges.

Hi Dhiraj,
If you are paying freight amount and freight value is more than 750/- & if the transporter is registered then you have to discharge GST @ 5% under RCM.
