i paid 5% reverse charges in july

can i claim this 5% back as itc in july month in gstr2??

some peoples charge in same month but my opinion is you just claim july month rcm in august month gstr2

Yes you can claim in July.

Same is clarified by GST Deptt also.

No..Input tax credit is available as Itc only after filing of gstr 3 of the month in which u have paid rcm tax....so it will be allowed in next return period....

You can claim as ITC on Next Month...

dear rashmi,

how you said that claim rcm on same month according to clarification by gst department is clear. rcm you paid on which month you claim rcm on the same month.

exp. if you pay rcm in month of aug for the m/o july then you claim rcm in m/o august return.

The input of RCM is eligible only in that month return in which the tax is paid

i already reply in my previous message with example but rashmi not understand.

Dear Rashmi,

If you Book a rent Rs. 10000 under RCM in M/o July then you Pay 18% RCM in m/o August.

After payment you take Input of above RCM in M/o August GSTR2 return.

Now i think you understand.
