i purchased material from a supplier (interstate) and i paid the freight (Rs. 8000) by chque directly to the trasporter. He has not charged me anything on the bill. he is registered under GST . Do i have to pay GST on this bilty ?
There was a mention that if you pay 12% on freight u can get ITC. it has confused me a bit. Can someone explain, what's the correct way to go about it.
I was told, if u charge 5% RCM , u dont get ITC.
If you charge 12% , u get ITC...
this is confusing
