RBI TO ISSUE NEW RS 5 COIN

The Reserve Bank on Thursday announced it will shortly issue new Rs 5 coins with the theme "Connectivity and Information Technology".  The face of the 23-millimetre ferritic stainless steel coins will be divided in three parts with two horizontal lines.  The central portion will bear the "Lion Capitol" of Ashoka Pillar with "Satyamev Jayate" inscribed below.  The top part will contain the word "Bharat" and "India" while the lower portion will bear the year.  On the other side of the coin, the lower periphery will contain two visual metaphors depicting the smooth fluid mass representing the ceaseless flow of information.  The existing five rupee coins will continue to be in circulation

"Connectivity and Information Technology".On 5Rs. coin is Insult to Indian IT sectors,RBI should Put this on 1000Rs...notes or better denominations notes is to be printed..........100000RS.............onwards to tribute IT sector.
