Please advice me what is rate of excise duty applicable on sales of wastage & scrap by the EOU.
Please mentioned the circular/ notification number if any.

Dear Mr. Goel
As per CE. Notification 23/2003 dtd. 31.03.2003, you can clear wastage/scrap 50% of custom duty and all other duty in DTA, subject to achieve the value addition norms,in the previous year.
