Hi..services provided by a metered cab is negative listed..but radio taxi has been excluded from the negative list...can anybody tell the difference between radio taxi and metered cab??
Do uber,ola,meru etc fall in the defination of a radio taxi or are they metered cabs??Pls explain..
These all are redio taxis and therefore liable to service tax.
Metered Cab - Upto 6 passengers
Maxi Cab - 6-12 Passengers

I want to start cab service can you advice me how we are attach priver car with my company
sir, somewhere its written that meterd cabs are exempted from service tax but somewhere if motor cars are given on rent then reverse charge mechanism is there where 100% service tax is paid by service receiver after 60% abatement. i am confused that taxi services are charged service tax or are exempted..please clarify..
