I resigned from my company after 2.2 yrs of employment. I have a superannuation account that has good amount of money. Am i eliligible to get the money? I have heard that superannuation benefits only starts after 3 yrs, before 3 yrs resignation lead to loss of the sum accrued in the superannuation fund.

The entitlement of Superannuation depends on the provisions of the Superannuation Rules of the organisation which are duly approved by the Commissioner of Income Tax of the jurisdiction.
The entitlement may be 1/2/3/5 years of completion of MEMBERSHIP of the Superannuation Fund of the organisation set up for the purpose.This can even be shorter than one year of mebbership.
The entitlement of membership is defined by the organisation through Superannuation Rules ,it may immediatly on joining or 1 st April following joining or SIX months after joining etc,.
You are supposed to get acopy of the Rules of the Fund and copy of statement of account at end of every year of the position as at 31 st March of every year.
So please go through the Rules and make a claim of your amount depending on your entitlement.
