A tax notice under sec 154 notifing that the TDS deductor has revised his entry henceforth a demand will be raised from IT deptt, I have been asked for any objection. Now if I dont object, what happens, IT deptt will send me a fresh demand notice that I have to pay at that time or I have to rectify my return right now and then pay the difference??

It is intimated to you for any objection from your end " for the rectification of TDS return by deductor".

Demand is not raised now, it will be raised, if only you do not object to it.

So, better to pay only after the demand raised by depatment u/s. 245. No interest payable if paid within 30 days of demand.
