Please let me know what is withholding tax...is it actually TDS or any other form of tax? I am right now in Ethiopia working for a company and want to know the procedure of Withholding Tax (WHT).

There is no difference between TDS and Withholding Tax. In India we call it TDS and in other countries and in other countries it is known as withholding tax.
