Query regarding itr-v

Sirs,

I am an individual and have filed my ITR-1 online (Income tax Department website) on 26.08.2015. The ITR-V generated by the system was downloaded, printed and signed. ITR-V with original signature was sent to Bangaluru by sppedpost and the same has been delivered on 02.09.2015. Yet, the website status of ITR-V displays "ITR-V not received"

I request guidance as to what should be done in case the ITR-V is not taken on record within the stipulated time of 120 days.

I shall be highly obliged to receive your valuable guidance in the matter.

RELAX - it takes time for CPC bengluru to update.

If you have seen speed post tracker  then no problem 

It will be updated in few days from now.

See whether you got ack  email.

Relax - Dont worry. Keep a copy of speed post receipt and take a copy/paste of tracking of speed post. 

You can call toll free number  1800-425- 2229

For next year - rectify your AADHAR card with you mobile no.

You can everify online itself.

If you dont have any refund then  mobile no and email ID registered with  efiling was sufficient

If you have refund then there are two methods of everifying  - thro OTP received on Mobile whichis linked to AADHAR --> linked to your PAN

OR

Thru netbanking.
