The AGM of X Ltd was scheduled to held on 30.06.2015. However, the AGM got adjourned till 25.07.2015 due to some unavoidable reasons.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company was held on 29.06.2015 whereby it was decided to appoint Mr. A as additional director w.ef. 01.07.2015.
An additional director holds office upto the date of next AGM.
At an adjourned AGM only the unfinished business can be transacted.
Now will Mr. A will vacate office on 25.07.2015 or will he continue till the date of AGM to be held in the year 2016.
