I want to enquire whether the aggregation of agriculture income with other income is just for the calculation of tax liability or is to be considered while calculating surcharge limit also.

The surcharge is calculated on taxable income (i.e) Income after rebate for agri income. Hence the aggregation is only for ca;culating tax liability
