Query of sales book number

Hi Ajay,

Lets assume that there is no computerized bills.

You will print all your bill books and you can maintain the same across financial years.

It is not necessary that it should start from 1 on 1st April 

Incase of Karnataka, department allows you to maintain morethan one Sale book like Tax Invoice, Retail Invoice.

To the extent of my knowledge, the VAT Act explains that Invoice should be serially numbered.

If anybody is having different opion, please comment.
