I am doing articleship, and I had joined bcom in college, where I had to go for writing semester exams only. But college marks attendance as per University rules.
Can I obtain a letter from principal of college stating that I am doing in college in correspondence for uploading in ssp portal ?

Thanks for your question — it's a common situation for CA students pursuing B.Com while doing articleship.
Form 112 is required if you’re pursuing any other course (like B.Com) alongside articleship.
As per ICAI rules, you can pursue one additional course, but it must not clash with articleship timings (i.e., 11 AM to 5 PM).
If your college is marking attendance (even if you only go for exams), ICAI may treat it as a regular course — so you must clarify the mode of study.
Yes, you can and should obtain a letter from your college principal clearly stating:
You are enrolled in distance/correspondence mode (or exam-only mode).
There are no mandatory classes to attend.
Your presence is only required for examinations, and you are not required to attend regular lectures.
