Can anybody tell me that what are the new changes in place of NON filing of TDS Quarterly return? Is it true that from q3 we dont have to file Quarterly TDS return?

Sir I got an email in which it is said that : Quarterly Returns is not required to be filed from 3rd Quarter of FY 2009-10 but new scheme of periodicity not prescribed as yet.

As per my updation , till now there is no such circular or notification .
Form of TDS Returns are changed. No such circular or notification...
dear swohra,
as per provision of filing of tds return u have to filed return if u have deducted the tax irrespective of quarter in which u have deducted tax,but if u have does not deduted the tax then there is no filing of return.
but practically u must filed NIL return because it is notcost too much
& as per my knowledge there is no any notifiaction/circular issued regarding what u r saying about
No official notification about this is issued. So wait for the same and till then continue with the old procedure.
