Pvt Ltd Company Name Change

We had applied for name change of our Pvt Ltd company from " C Pvt Ltd " to " G Pvt Ltd " same has been approved by MCA yesterday

Now while trying to update the name change details in GST portal under Amendment of Core Field, after submission regularly getting error that Legal Name does not match . Had uploaded the new Incorporation Certificate but still getting same error . Please advise how to complete the name change in GST portal ?

Do we have to first update the name in PAN and will it also result in change in PAN number as the first Alphabet of Company isnt same now ?

GST portal first verify the details,then only final application will be sent to GST officer.
The validation is failing due to wrong name.
so there will be two cases.
case1)if there is major change in name.
you can apply to new pan,it means new GST registration is to be taken with new PAN.
case2)if there is minor change in name,the name of same pan can be changed.then apply core ammendment in gst portal.
