If you want to make a career in Financial Management, it is very good especially if you are looking for job outside India.

If you want to make a career in Taxation you may find CIMA irrelevant.

Best of Luck

Yeah ! I'm looking forward to a global financial mgmt platform . But what about managing both CA and CIMA studies together , how to do that effectively ?

You know your strengths and weaknesses.

You have to find out yourself, what are effective ways.

You can do CIMA after completing your CA.Do one course at a time that would look better. You will get some exemptions in CIMA, you have to check.

If u really want to work as an executive on a global field complete CA work for 4 yrs in a good company go for a top MBA program like Wharton or Harvard u can find top MBA in world in Google or ft ranking

Top MBA program s have more scope and pay compared to cima or other courses globally. What to pursue Depends on ur own interest and career goals.

I would recommend you to cima only after completing CA and gaining some industry exp as u will get a complete idea what to do either cima or other course based on your career path

Yup , I'm looking forward for top MBA program abroad and working on it . Meanwhile while doing CA I thought of pursuing a supplementary course too along with CA ...so asked about it ..

I think if u really want to pursue any supplementary course then yes u can give a shot at the first level of cima . but try to focus and complete CA in first attempt beleive me that is enough to get a good job in Indian scenario.
