Return through Debit note and not sales invoice.
Note that while raising debit note, the same shall be reduced from your purchases.
whereas if you return it by making sales, it will unnecessarily increase your turnover in P&L

if you issue a sale voice and you are filing income tax under sec 44ad then it will increase your tax liability unwantedly
