hi sir my client is NRI he is purchasing building he should pay tax

NRIs also have to pay a withholding TDS at the rate of 1% if buy a property worth more than Rs 50 lakh

seller also should pay tax

seller will pay tax on capital gain right.....

and also pay tds on behalf of purchaser 1% withholding tax
