Punjab e way bill

Dear Mr. Jagtar Bhambra,

Presently, there is no any official source available in the public domain clarifying as to which all states have adopted for the system of e-way bills w.e.f. 01.02.2018. However, twitter handle of CBEC has stated that intra-state e-way bill is applicable w.e.f 01.02.2018 for the following states i.e. Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh.

Further, following states are implementing from a deferred date as under:

 - Orissa: 01.06.2018

 - Maharashtra: 01.05.2018

 - Chattisgarh: 01.06.2018

 - West Bengal: 01.06.2018 

No source as to Punjab. But likely to be implemented from 01.06.2018.
