I googled on above query but didnt get satisfactory answer. My query is that in whose favour cheque or DD for payment of Professional Tax under MVAT is to be drawn? and where this payment is to be deposited? which bank accepts this payment under MVAT?

Pay Professiona Tax in State Bank of India. It is advisable to pay PT through Cheque. Draw the cheque in the name of "State Bank of India Profession Tax A/c".

Cheque or DD is to be deposited in your nearest SBI branch or in the office of IT in the name of ITO of your area.
Its Bank Name a/c Professional Tax or Bank name a/c Profession Tax ???
