Number of proxies appointed by the member
As per section 176 (1) (b) unless the article otherwise provide a member of private company is not allowed to appoint more than proxy, but a member of public company can do so.
There is no such restriction regarding appointing 1 proxy on behalf of many shareholders for attending AGM
